Winter Fuel Allowance.In response to your poll on winter fuel allowance. It has always amazed me that the government have never seen fit to take into account disabled peoples heating needs. I know that elderly people get help, and rightly so, but as a disabled person and because of my condition, i to feel the cold very severly these days. Becasue i do not qualify for income support i get no help with meeting heating costs at all. Apparently my ill-health retirement pension takes me a few pounds over the threshold for getting it!

 I agree, that we should get some help with the costs, I find it hard in the winter and I am constantly cold and when im cold my legs are very painful.

Winter Fuel AllowanceI totally agree.
I know that Disability Now was campaigning for it to be extended to Severe Disabled, but I'm not actually sure if anything came of it. But I really think it should be extended to all. It wouldn't cost the Government a great deal - especially when you think about the lastest costs for the London Olympics - and keeping warm is far more important.
It is one of the things I'm campaigning for, so keep that feedback coming guys!
